Unelected Rent Board Backs Down on 33

On October 2nd, the unelected and unaccountable Rent Board planned to show their bias by endorsing Prop 33. Even after being warned against this action by the City Attorney, some of the extremists on the Board wanted to go ahead. Thanks to public comment and correspondence from PHP members, the Board eventually backed away from any kind of endorsement.
